According to wiki, Holy Week (Latin: Hebdomada Sancta or Maior Hebdomada, "Greater Week") in Christianity is the last week of Lent and the week before Easter. It includes the religious holidays of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) and Good Friday, and lasts from Palm Sunday (or in the Eastern, Lazarus Saturday) until but not including Easter Sunday, as Easter Sunday is the first day of the new season of The Great Fifty Days. It commemorates the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ culminating in his crucifixion on Good Friday and his resurrection on Easter Sund

In other words, Holy Week is the time to remember Jesus and how He sacrificed His life for us. It’s the time to pray and contemplate with God. But as the people get busier, does it still practice up to this time?

The church has started the celebration yesterday, Sunday. It started with Palm Sunday then followed by the remaining activities set for this religious activity. It’s fun and exciting thinking how people participate in this activity. But not all. Why? where are the others?

Holy Week is not only time for religious activities for others. It’s also the time to rest and have fun shall I say. People tend to go to different places and spend time with their family, friends or loved ones. Because, during this time especially here in the Philippines, this is considered as a "long vacation". By this time, resorts are the hot spots for these tourists.

The idea itself is not bad because every human being needs rest but let us not also forget why we celebrate and for whom we are remembering this season.
