Last December 24,2007, which was the last day of the misa de galio. That morning a church goer strucked in his presence. He looked so odd coz he was wearing dirty clothes inside and he tried to wear a clean clothes outside. Actually he was wearing a white crumpled polo, a worn-out jeans and a pair of super used snickers. He was also walking oddly. At first, i was kinda judge him like in my mind hoping that he won’t sit beside me coz i was sure that he doesn’t smell good. Well he really didn’t seat beside me because he seated inside the left side of the church wherein chairs were limited and people seldom seat there. Infairness, he knew his place, he knows where his place. The place where people won’t discriminate him.

When You look at him, it looks like he was kinda out of his mind. But you know what? During offertory, he really stood up and gave an offering to the servers. Like you can’t hardly believe that even though he doesn’t have money to feed himself, he was still able to give. And another, even though he was that kind of person, he was still able to fix himself and go to church that early. Because he has the faith in God. He really made a sarifice.

In this article, I want you to realize that even that kind of person goes to mass and praise God. Even though I don’t know his prayers, the though is his faith in God was never a doubt. How about you? Have you ever doubted God?

Isn’t the story touchy?

Last December 26,2007 was quite a memorable date for me. Why? Because for 2 years that me and my guy are together, that was the first time that we had a breakfast together. Funny though but that’s the truth.

After eating breakfast, he suggested to scout cellphones for the two of us for our sun network. As we founded two the same not so expensive phones, I was just thinking that we will just go back to the store when we found the right phones for us. but i was really shocked because he bought the two phones and gave the other one to me. Eventually, we bought prepaid cards.

If you wonder why do we have to have new phones and have should have constant communication, it’s because though we belong in the same city, we seldom see each other because we don’t belong in the same school and we have different schedule. And also, he really wanted to have a constant communication with me. Isn’t that sweet?

Wow… Finally! Misa de galio has finally over! and I deserve a congratulations. Why? Because I complted 1-4:00am mass + 8- 3:00am masses = 9 mornings of sacrifices. Sacrifices like lack of sleep and no sleeping at all. Actually there was a  time that i couldn’t hardly undertsand what the priest was  saying because i was really tired from project making and i didn’t sleep the day before that.

sleeping

But I’m still happy and contented because my sleepless and tiring morninf paid off because I completed the 9 MORNINGS!

BTW, Where does Misa de galio originated?

          She’s hopeless!

I know someone who’s really irritating. She doesn’t even know how to ask permission to get something like food to me. As if we are super close. Actually, it’s okay with me as long as your nice to me and will not abuse me. But in this case, she’s very abusive! as if nothing happened after some abusive incidents. she’s like manhid or something.

Girl, bagong taon ay mag bagong buhay. Hope this would be your new year’s resolution.

Every 12th month of the year which is December, there’s a government program wherein lumads or known as indigenous people from highland areas are fetched by the government through the means of dumptrucks and are relocated to different gyms like in Baranggay 5-A, Bankerohan gym.

The government’s purpose are that the Lumads can have the chance to take tour in the city and have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with the urban people and to the urban people, they can have the opportunity to share their blessings by giving used and can be reused old clothings. What a remarkable idea. Isn’t it?

Indeed the idea is such a remarkable one but is it what’s happening now? Maybe. But based on my observation, there are a lot of Indigenous People in the city. When I say a lot, it’s really a lot. To the extent that it’s irritating and quite scary. I’m not discriminating them but I’m just afraid on what they can do if ever you won’t give them any. The city becomes more crowded. In some part of Bankerohan, business establishment can no longer endorse their business because the Lumads are taking it over just like Videoke House. And not only that, I also feel sorry fo them because I think they are starving especially the children. Maybe the government are giving them food but do you think it’s enough? And some of the lumads are scary because some are asking from people forcely.

Actually, it’s okay with me to accomodate those in the city but not that too many because people in the city has different culture than them and it’s not easy to adjust and because of it, it can bring chaos.

Are you familiar with the word Call Center? I know you know about it base on media and buzz making advertisement about it. But do you really know what Call centrer/center mean?

According to wiki(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_center),  call centre or call center (see spelling differences) is a centralised office used for the purpose of receiving and transmitting a large volume of requests by telephone.

A call centre is operated by a company to administer incoming product support or information inquiries from consumers. Outgoing calls for telemarketing, clientele, and debt collection are also made. In addition to a call centre, collective handling of letters, faxes, and e-mails at one location is known as a contact centre.

A call centre is often operated through an extensive open workspace for call centre agents, with work stations that include a computer for each agent, a telephone set/headset connected to a telecom switch, and one or more supervisor stations. It can be independently operated or networked with additional centres, often linked to a corporate computer network, including mainframes, microcomputers and LANs. Increasingly, the voice and data pathways into the centre are linked through a set of new technologies called computer telephony integration (CTI).

Most major businesses use call centres to interact with their customers. Examples include utility companies, mail order catalogue firms, and customer support for computer hardware and software. Some businesses even service internal functions through call centres. Examples of this include help desks and sales support.

Base on the definition given by wiki, it really indeed that you receive calls via phone. But some call center establishments have this feauture wherein the agent, as what we commonly call to the call center employee, will be in chat category. Which means, the agent will be chatting the costumer inregards with the issue concern in connection with the company’s products and services. Others, will just receive through emails.

If you ask, how does it feel to be a Call Center agent? Here’s my answer TIRING! YEs, it sounds fun but when you’re in the real field? it’s not easy. The pressure especially during break time, the limited time to pee and other stuff, a boring routine, irritating callers and evn inconsistent company policy and not to mention a very low wage.

It’s not easy to multi task every call like you have to save the call logs while lsitening to the calls. I know this is reality but the effort and the wage? it’s not fair. You see, a person become sproductive if the wage is enough.

Anyway, I’m not discouraging you from your beautiful thinking about call centers but I’m just sharing my experience. emoticon
